Dutch Classics 7 NS Plan D 7800 Passenger Edition
We consided this add on to be a special one. It contains a very detailed series of passenger coaches of the Plan D 7800 series (3rd and 2nd class) that were in service for the Dutch Railways in the second half of the 20th century. The virtual version of these coaches that were already available in Dutch Classics 2 and Megapack 1 has almost completely been redeveloped in more detail than we ever did before. Both the exterior and interior of the coaches has been recreated in high detail and in all versions that these coaches were active in.
But this add on is a special one: in the add on we also bring you the 'passenger edition' of the coaches, a feature that has been developed by Dutch Classics. In other passenger coaches and EMU's you are only a static spectator in the passenger view, in these coaches the passenger view has become very interactive. You can move through a large part of the interior, take a seat in a compartment, open doors and windows, etc.. etc...With this feature your role as a passenger has become much more active than before. But there is more: in the coaches the interior lights of hallway and compartments is switchable, you can choose a destination with the destination plates through a control panel inside the coach and you can operate the tail lights of the coaches. If you would like to do so, you can also fulfill the role of conductor and give the signal for departure. This makes this add on to a very nice addition to your collection of virtual trains for Railworks Train Simulator.
Especially evening services become very atmoshperic when you step out of the cab of the engine and take a seat in the coaches - when circumstances permit. The coaches are available in a high detailed version and a performance friendly version with reduced detail. A scenario package with scenario's for Seebergbahn and Ruhr-Sieg route in standalone versions and in combination with engines of other Dutch Classics add ons and an extensive instruction manual make this add on complete.
In the add on you will find about eighty versions of the coaches: from versions with and without interactive passenger view, with and without advanced scripting to versions optimized for performance.
